Privacy: European supervisors publish instructions for data transfers after no-deal Brexit
Mr R. (Ramses) de Leeuw I 4 March 2019 I Reading time: less than 1 minute
A few months ago, we wrote in an article how you can prepare your company for a no-deal Brexit, also in the field of data protection. Last month, European privacy supervisors, gathered in the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), provided an easy-to-read explanation of the transfer of personal data to the UK in the case of a no-deal Brexit. Without delay, in the case of a no-deal Brexit, this transfer will not be allowed without further measures from 30 March 2019 (with a few exceptional situations).
Download here the document in which the European supervisors outline how you can prepare your company for this.
